On a fucking weekday, I missed the first fight because I had work. I remember expecting a short fight, ended up being the FOTY. I'll work from home for this.
I think your reply to my other comment got deleted for containing a particular word. But yeah, I had it on Now TV, which depending on where you're from you may know is Sky's online platform, so basically it was legit Sky Sports on my phone. If you are in the UK, it's usually really quite easy to get long term free trials for the mobile only one. I'm currently still on a six month free trial...
So, I've given it some thought, and I've decided to make a "Road To The Rematch" series similar to what I did for Estrada-Chocolatito 2, in honor of an old friend, u/Maximum_Garbage_7301, who requested I do a series for Inoue after if ever an occasion occurred. This is that occasion. First part should be uploaded on June 1st. Stay Tuned.
Yup I wouldn’t be mad at either of them winning. Should be a banger like the first fight if Donaire comes in looking as good as he has past few fights!
What sucks is that you see the length of the event which gives you a clue into how long the fight lasts. It's a spoiler in a way. I really hate that about ESPN+.
I mean, I remember the discussions when Inoue was scheduled to fight Casimero and people were left and right saying that it‘s a mismatch. Like the no.1 fighting no.2/3 being regarded a mismatch speaks a lot about how crazy Inoue even is
Cant do anything about the pandemic... he was set to fight casimero... but pandemic aside... bob has done jack shit.
2 fights once a year and barely mentions him.
I offed up, meant to say 2 fights over 2 years... and they only pay for mandos to give him his minimum. Maybe they do more when inoue moves up.... but neither of the champs are on top ranks side of the street... so probably nothing.
I was under the impression Inoue doesn't really speak English, that's quite a major barrier for a fighter who competes at such low weights against guys the average person has never heard about.
Just hyped to see my fav fighter back at it. I think inoue stops donaire this time. It would suck to see a legend like donaire go out that way but father time is undefeated
Lol. No one just goes into a fight without a gameplan. Especially with titles on the line and the WBSS.
He's just using it as a scare tactic. If he couldn't beat Inoue who was seeing double, He's not beating Inoue period.
Weird having this on a Tuesday tbh, dunno what the promoters were thinking but ok and also tbh, if i wasnt Filipino, id have no faith in Nonito winning and Naoya takes it but because i am, im all for Nonito here, and lets also not count him out, after their first fight, he grabbed the WBC belt from Nourdine Ouballi in dominating fashion and took care of young and upoming Reymart Gaballo in 4 rounds, this should be interesting, also, hope Casimero can get his belt back, dont wanna see winner here vs Paul fucking Butler LMAO
Donaire said he’s coming to box. Plus in his recent interviews, he’s preaching that he feels way better now than he did in his early 30s and is sort of manifesting that he upsets Inoue
I hope so, would be awesome seeing him with 3 belts as a 39 yr old, and maybe if he wins and Casimero gets the WBO back, it would be an all filipino undisputed fight, that would actually be so great, gotta not think too far ahead though cause its probably gonna be Inoue vs Butler 🤦♂️
Nonito IMO actually struggled with Gaballo until Gaballo's inexperience killed him.
I also think Nonito looked slower versus Gaballo than he did Oubaali. That and it was clear Oubaali did not respect Donaire's hook.
Donaire will always have a chance with his hook. Still don't think Donaire wins though. Inoue is able to see now 😂
I'm actually wishing Donaire ain't thinking too much about landing his left hook and work Inoue every round. He's got the chin to atleast not go down with just one shot so he can try to be patient landing jabs and combo but not always going for the kill (and catch scoring punches in return) then may he can pile rounds up and win it.
Inoue is more likely to go and try finish him faster this time so patience and distance with the jab is key for Donaire. But he better bring an extra gas tank.
This is a lose lose situation for inoue.
He wins? Yeh so what... He already beat an old donaire.
He loses? Omg, he lost to a past his prime donaire!! Lololol
I'd never recommend a fighter taking a fight like this but hey ho.
If you think Donaire is big at 118, then you'll be surprised he's a former champ at 112.
Also, side by side, Donaire and Inoue seem almost identical. Probably only an inch difference but 10 yrs of age gap.
>I know you love to shit on Inoue
Really? Being honest and telling the truth is now a form of shitting someone? How the heck should I say it? Should I sugar coat it? Are the words I am saying not truthful?
Also, let's not turn a blind eye that Inoue skipped 115 where you can find tons of great fighters in that division. Also, he can just go up to 122 if he wants to challenge himself. But on the contrary, we find him either wasting his prime time or picking legendary fighters like Dipaen and Dasmarinas. And at the end of the day, he gets to be voted higher than Spence, Canelo etc.
115 ducked him so he left. Your opinion of him would have been that he was at 115 for all these years and wouldn't fight a top fighter there.
That said, Dasmarinas was a Mandatory that was delayed. A stupid fight indeed but one he couldn't avoid.
Dipaen was one he couldn't avoid either. He was trying to get fights made with Gary Antonio Russell and Warren but they both declined to fight him. At that time, everyone else was tied up in a fight so he defaulted to Dipaen.
Overall, his opposition hasn't looked too hot but it wasn't entirely his fault either lol.
Are you trolling? lol.
He's had multiple fights at 115. But since you claim he's never fought at 115... our conversation is already done here lol. You have no knowledge.
I know his best fight was against an old man 3 yrs ago and yet being voted #2 P4P which is outrageous and kinda embarrassing trying to be in that spot while Usyk, Spence, Canelo, Jermell and many others deserving are below him.
I mean, you didn't even know he fought at 115. Your opinion doesn't mean much because you've basically confirmed you talk out of your ass lol.
I mean, even his peers rank him up there soooo... but I guess I'll take your word over Canelo and Bud lol.
I would probably give it a couple more days, they just decided to make it available on YouTube in the uk, and I believe they just sorted out the filipino rights as well
On a fucking weekday, I missed the first fight because I had work. I remember expecting a short fight, ended up being the FOTY. I'll work from home for this.
I remember sitting at my desk watching live on my phone. That fight was crazy and I must have looked like a madman the way I was getting into it.
The main event starting sometime around 4 - 5 AM on a weekday for me. Not doing it. I'm not as strong as the british bros here.
4-5am, now you know how us Brits feel like, that's an average Saturday night/Sunday morning for us haha.
I think your reply to my other comment got deleted for containing a particular word. Ah shit I didn't think that was a banned word 🤣 my bad - @moderators I was at my office at the time bruh
🤣 I wonder what that word was lol

Looking forward to this!
Lets go champ!
It's hard seeing Donaire win when Inoue took his best shot and beat him with 10 rounds of double vision. But IDKSAB so who knows
There were a couple times I thought Donaire had Inoue wobbled but he weathered the storm and got the KD the next round ( or maybe 2)
I’m rooting for Donaire but shit I would also like to see Inoue finish the job this time.
My money is on Inoue getting the knockout but yes donaire is a freaking beast. It's just Inoue is a monster
Donaire at +450 and Inoue -500 at this time.
Yup that looks right.
Donaire shocks the world and retires on top.
Problem is both guys are so incredibly likable.
Yup I wouldn’t be mad at either of them winning. Should be a banger like the first fight if Donaire comes in looking as good as he has past few fights!
Inoue not seeing double will make a huge difference. Also Donaire is a bit older and Inoue is in his prime now and only got better
If I recall correctly, Inoue really put the hurt on Donaire last time.
The replay better be available.
They always are on ESPN+
What sucks is that you see the length of the event which gives you a clue into how long the fight lasts. It's a spoiler in a way. I really hate that about ESPN+.
Anyone have any idea why they decided to make it on a Tuesday?
Sporting events and concerts are usually on weekdays in Japan for some reason
Top Rank and Bob Arum have done Inoue so fucking wrong. Dude should be a bonified star right now
Well to kind of be far the two times he fought in the USA. The guys latterly ran away in the ring
I mean, I remember the discussions when Inoue was scheduled to fight Casimero and people were left and right saying that it‘s a mismatch. Like the no.1 fighting no.2/3 being regarded a mismatch speaks a lot about how crazy Inoue even is

Well he did stop him in the first fight if it wasn’t for the 20 sec count. But I have a rd4 Ko for inoue
Yeh I agree that count was long and I forget which round but donaire was hurt and on his last legs, a stoppage would have been acceptable by the ref
Naoya Inoue, P4P Nr1 in my eyes, is giving us the flyweight rematch the year. Really looking forward to it
DramaInSaitama2
I forget the exact stat, but usually in rematches the younger fighter wins. Again, I forget the %, but the safe bet is Inoue.
happy this is happening but i think Inoue gets the ko/tko this time around
Thank god, I thought we’re gonna have to watch Casimero live-streaming this fight or sum shit lol
Lmao I knew Kovalev did it but didn't know about Casimero.
Casimero loves to do stuffs like that. Vlogging and stuff. Just typical pinoy things
Because Donaire went in the first fight without a plan besides just slugging it out, this feels like it could go either way
Nah, he might’ve not had a game plan but he fought a perfect fight last time (as perfect as it could’ve gone). He’s only gotten older too. Inoue by KO
Lol. No one just goes into a fight without a gameplan. Especially with titles on the line and the WBSS. He's just using it as a scare tactic. If he couldn't beat Inoue who was seeing double, He's not beating Inoue period.
It’s in Japan? Nice, I get to watch it first thing in the morning.

come on Donaire, land that left hook!

Presumably, get this on Sky Sports too?

>This is a lose lose situation for inoue. > >He wins? Yeh so what... He already beat an old donaire. He gets his WBC strap
Shrug...
There isn't a better fight out there for him. Beating Donaire and then Butler lands him undisputed.
Our #2 P4P greatest challenge is a rematch against a decade long faded fighter?
Faded? Have you seen the shit Donaire has pulled the last 2 years? Hes not in his prime but hes far from done
To be fair, Donaire just nabbed a belt with a dominating performance and a stunning knockout
Just tells you how weak the current 118 division is. And to be fair, this Donaire isn't the better Donaire during his Prime.

And Donaire looked thick? You must be on something.
You're downvoted, but it's sadly true. Inoue and Oldnaire are on a league of their own in this division. Everyone else is levels below both.
Casimero?
What about him?
Is he really “levels below” Inoue and Donaire?
I think so. He only has a puncher's chance against both, imo. Funny guy though.

You can give him all kinds of excuses but the time that has been lost is lost.
115 ducked him so he left. Your opinion of him would have been that he was at 115 for all these years and wouldn't fight a top fighter there. That said, Dasmarinas was a Mandatory that was delayed. >115 ducked him so he left. How? He didn't even didn't do a single fight at 115?
Are you trolling? lol. He's had multiple fights at 115. But since you claim he's never fought at 115... our conversation is already done here lol. You have no knowledge.
That's more sad. He was there but he ducked them all.
Lol figured you'd post something stupid. Good talk. It's clear you don't know anything about him lol.
I know his best fight was against an old man 3 yrs ago and yet being voted #2 P4P which is outrageous and kinda embarrassing trying to be in that spot while Usyk, Spence, Canelo, Jermell and many others deserving are below him.

So from what I’m gathering main event can be expected around 7am ET?
Is it too much to ask for title fights on days people can watch them?
lets go. Time to turn back the clock donaire!!!
Nice
Brilliant matchup this
Any idea how to watch this fight in Australia?
I would probably give it a couple more days, they just decided to make it available on YouTube in the uk, and I believe they just sorted out the filipino rights as well
