Probably common in Australia, we get around bare foot or wearing thongs (flip-flops) frequently.

Apprehensive_Club352

Just went to my local movies and lots of bare feet so yeah, it’s kind of a thing here.

RGC658

I don't care if you have bare feet or hobnailed boots on. JUST DON'T PUT THEM ON THE CHAIRS.

cbas723

who gives a fuck? it's nearly empty

Is it any different than wearing flip-flops?…

Becksalright

Are you watching Memory?

rhetoricsleuth

Everything everywhere all at once

ItsTophThatsWho

Don’t know why you’re getting downvoted. That movie was great.

The things on the bottom of your feet and you put that in the atmosphere. This is rude in my opinion, go home and do that. I get we are raised differently and we may not agree.

TailorLongjumping431

i am literally retching right now

Maybe it’s not clear from the photo but there was someone sitting right next to the empty chair. The result was her bare feet were about 8in from this strangers face. He was upset enough to leave :/ Even if the theater was fairly empty, the woman could have sat anywhere and not had her feet i someone’s face. Also, this is Texas where it’s very hot at the moment. There was definitely an added smell.
