Once bound and working you will need to calibrate ESC, with plane plugged in and bound, turn off tranmitter, raise thrttle to 100%, when it beeps lower to 0
Well not to dissuade you but that should be a clear sign that it isn't a forgiving design to fly and like others have suggested a trainer would be a better first plane.
Is there a reversing ESC in this? What’s the extra cable for? If for reversing ESC, sometimes it needs to be plugged in even for it to work without reversing
Some ESC's are particular about the power on sequence. Some must be at 0 throttle upon power up; some want 100% at power up and then lower stick to 0. Read the instructions on yours. If you don't have instructions, do some googling and you can find some.
Have you been on the freewing or motion rc sites you can download the user manual. Treat the recommended low rate settings as high and program a low set of figures for low rate. Use 40/50% expo as it will head south really quickly. You’ll will need some one to hand launch for you, plenty of videos online. If you can get her up she will glide around nicely at lowish speed. Good luck
I can’t tell from the picture, but it looks like your throttle pwm cable is (red, white, black) is plugged in to BATT. Traditionally, spektrum uses channel 3 as throttle. Start there, unplug everything else. Get your throttle working then try other control surfaces.
Also, the brown wire looks to be a ground wire. If that’s true, the plug seems to be upside down with respect to the other wires.
Are you the person who bought that edf off facebook as a first plane? If you try and fly that for the first time, even with safe, you will definitely crash it within 5 seconds. Id suggest at least practicing on a flight sim, like picasim.
I’ve messed with the throttle cut switch on the transmitter, but no luck with that. I’ve tried switching the battery cord to the throttle (1) slot because that’s how it was wired with the old serval, but still no luck.

Also now my ailerons are working independently on of one another. Left one only works with pitch controls and right works on roll controls
no sound what beep pattern does the ESC make?
You will need to set Delta wing mixing for that model, [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xToLy9Yex-E](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xToLy9Yex-E)
ESC/throttle to channel 1 Aileron to channel 2 Elevator to channel 3 Rudder to channel 4 All dark colored wires to bottom
This is the problem . Move throttle to channel one . You may also need to initialize the ESC.

Maiden? That things seen some shit already by the condition of that fuselage
Ha yes, but not by me

Yes, I do agree with you, and I should get a trainer…but after I wreck this one. I’m just trying to have some fun

Just the process of buying, getting it working, learning, so far I’ve had plenty of fun with it, regardless if I wreck it or not😃
You do you! Enjoy!
Calibrate the esc

I don’t know what that is and I don’t think I have it
you are just seeing the wire to the gyro under it
Is that the Lippisch from Freewing? I have it and itsincredible difficult to fly. And I have been flying for 20 years already
I’ve heard the same, hopefully the gyro helps me out a lot
That AR620 reciever does not have a gyro in it. Do you have some other flight controller on that plane?

While messing with it, I did get the throttle to work…but just one time. After turning it off I don’t know what sequence I did to make it work

Had a look at the receiver connections it doesn’t look right defo get the manual there shouldn’t be any single wire connections

Spektrum is usually throttle on channel 1, it’s TAER
I have a 620 in two planes. Channel should be: Battery Throttle Ailerons Elevator Rudder Gear Aux1
Can confirm its 1. That receiver numbering is horrible, I have a few
Ok, I was just worried about burning something out, so I didn’t want to plug and play too much.
Just went through ever channel with the throttle cable, still noting

I have been practicing. Thanks for being constructive and answering/helping the question I asked.

throttle cut isnt too big of a deal with edfs, but it is absolutely necessary for prop planes.

Negative, not the problem unfortunately
Humm, can you do a video with sound of plugging in the battery

Aww sorry, it was just 3 beeps
yep, that's what should happen, haven't used spectrum for ages many this will help https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrFfQ1WdvSo
Un plug your speed controller to channel 1
