Get a labouring job in the discipline that you want to work in. Sets you up for both a cruisy time doing your studies and makes you a far better choice over your cohort

Create good personal/health/working habbits. Academically you'll figure things out once you get there and in the groove of school....as long as you put in the work you'll be fine. Also, Cs get degrees and D is for done...haha.

Shoot lots of pool and drink beer....have to get into shape. :)

practice algebra and precalculus basic. Calculus itself is fairly simple, it's the algebra knowledge needed while working through the problems that really trips you up.

Learn AutoCAD. Take one autoCAD class at your local CC each semester this year. It shouldn’t be that time consuming

Don’t waste time preparing for school, and I really do mean that. Find a job, establish healthy routines, travel a bit, and overall try to enjoy yourself as much as possible. You’ll be able to work everything out once you start.
